New Future Friday (2)

This is our second edition of New Future Friday. I am trying to give you weekly updates on our new Convergence House of Prayer building.

The framing is going up fast. All the walls are taking shape and rooms are becoming much more than mere architectural drawings.

There is so much detail going into this building. Codes to follow, different levels of power, sound engineering, audio engineering, lighting, air conditioning,  age level construction, finishes and so on. It is all pretty mind-blowing.

Joyful in the Journey

I made a decision early on that I will be joyful in the journey. Though there are countless hours and a multitude of decisions, it is the Lord who is helping us down the home stretch of building construction.

I believe that the Lord is more excited to have this building to go up than we are. This is such a cool thing to realize. We get to partner with Him as we construct this building for His glory.

The Building Going Up

Here are a few details on how the building is going up.

  1. Our builders are framing out the Children’s Equipping Center first, then the lobby, Prayer Room/sanctuary, meeting rooms, great room, auxiliary rooms, administration, commercial kitchen and recording studio, pretty much in this order.
  2. This means you will generally see pictures in stages. This week the focus is more on our Children’s Equipping Center.

    1. Hi Andrew. We used Balch Enterprises as our initial builder and developer. Fuse as our lead designer. Fuse is giving us the building the look we wanted, I highly recommend them.
