We purchased our new church building (all cash) several months ago.

Now we are in the process of designing the interior to make the new building the new home of Convergence House of Prayer.

Below are the first rough drafts of what the the Prayer Room and the lobby will look like.

The other pictures show our team and the guys at Fuse Architecture, also, the style palette of potential ingredients for the design.

We thank the Lord for his provision and the leadership teams we have to work with on the project.

What do you think?

Today, I am excited to announce my partnership with ManUp Leadership.

  1. Thanksgiving: Giving thanks to the Lord based on what He has done.
  2. Adoration: Meditating on who God is.
  3. Repentance: Changing the way we think and aligning our hearts with His. Repenting to know His thoughts and obeying to do His will.
  4. Intercession: Discovering and praying what is on His heart for yourself and others.

Building a daily time with God and enjoying it is vital to a wholehearted pursuit of God. I noticed both in my personal life and in the lives of others that much of our time spent with the Lord is out of balance.

Balance

We spend too much time repenting, praying for our needs and the needs of others and not enough time in thanksgiving and adoration.

So many of us pray to God not with God. I measured prayer by how much time I talked to God. God measures prayer by how much time I interact with Him.

Prayer is communion. Prayer is a conversation. Prayer is dialogue.

Prayer and Fasting at the beginning of a year is not some powerless resolution but can result in a personal reformation.

Prayer and Fasting

Prayer and fasting is not a gimmick to change God’s mind but a resolve to discover His heart as one contends for personal and corporate breakthrough.

So many God opportunities and decisions have come as a result of extended times of prayer and fasting.

I remember being approached and asked to merge with another church while on a 21 day fast.  This unexpected blessing resulted in a substantial blessings for our church.

I cannot overemphasize the opportunity that awaits anyone who decides to pray and fast at the beginning of each year. I urge you to take the leap.
